The rapid modeling system, which is linked with a CAD system, enables us to form complex shapes in a short time and to generate and check the actual product.

A finished part and prototype part prepared by the rapid modeling system
We have developed the means to check the design for the optinum
surface parts, as well as the impact of curved surfaces, in
early stage.

< STL conversion >
A product designed by 3D data is converted to STL data. STL is a method of international conversion system to show spatial coordinates by indicating an approximation of body surfaces with triangles.
|

|
< Slice processing >
To enable output of the converted STL data, both slice-processing
and support-processing are done. (Slice-processing: Slicing
the data by 0.1mm thickness. Support-process: Adding legs to
support the product.)
|

|
< Modeling >
Modeling the product based on the slice data by hardening each
0.1mm thick layer with a UV laser on to the surface of UV-hardening
resin.
|

|
< Finish >
Remove the supporting legs, wash the product, do a second hardening, followed by the final step.

Dramatically reducing the amount of time needed to produce prototype products.
While we previously required 30 working days to make a prototype product using the original process, we need only three days to do the same using the rapid modeling system.
